GO Riteway is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for our multiple locations and entities as well as coordinating employee garnishments. We are looking for someone who has at least three years of experience in payroll and tax payment processing and is well versed in ADP payroll and timekeeping.

  

Upon Starting, You’ll:

    •   Prepare and file weekly payroll taxes and review weekly payroll reconciliations to ensure all pretax items are correct
    •  Be responsible for the review of payroll changes and rates for accuracy.
    •  Collaborate with other members of the payroll team to maintain, reconcile and pay appropriate parties for payroll deductions.
    •  Extract, reconcile and upload 401K deductions.
    •  Work with management staff to ensure that all new hire reporting and E-verify reporting is accurate and timely.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

  •  High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  •  Demonstrated accurate payroll skills, strong attention to detail.
  •  Basic to intermediate mathematical skills.
  •  Demonstrated skills involving the use of computers and other office equipment; intermediate level MS Word and Excel required; Outlook and Access desirable.
  •  Able to maintain confidentiality; exercise tact and diplomacy when working with others.
  •  Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with managers, staff and customers.
  •  Knowledge of and experience with customer service.
  •  Demonstrated ability to work well with others collaboratively in a teamwork environment.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS  

  •  ADP Experience preferred.
  •  Three to Five years of payroll processing experience and tax payment processing.
  •  Associates degree or higher in accounting is preferred.
  •  Experience in transportation industry a plus.
